Peace of Heart: Prayer of the Day for Monday, October 28, 2024 #Pray

Almighty and Eternal God,
Give me, I beseech You,
the great gift of inward peace.
Command the winds and storms
of my unruly passions.
Subdue, by Your grace,
my proneness to love
created things too much.
Give me a love of suffering for Your sake.
make me forbearing and kind to others,
that I may avoid quarrels and contentions.
And teach me constantly to seek after
and to acquire that perfect resignation
to Your Holy Will
which alone brings interior peace.

Amen.

Instead, they heaped on the chores and let him raise himself, only crawling back to him once he was old enough to employ for more complicated endeavors. Keep scrolling to read how this kid set healthy boundaries for himself and called his neglectful parents out at the same time when he refused their orders for the last time.

Alien Life May Not Need a Planet To Survive #Paranormal

A new study proposes the intriguing idea: alien life may not need a planet to survive. Published in the journal Astrobiology, the research challenges conventional thinking, suggesting that certain organisms might thrive in the depths of space, fundamentally reshaping how we approach the search for extraterrestrial life. Traditionally, scientists focus on planets in the search for life, with Earth as the only example we know of. Earth’s gravity, thick atmosphere, and abundant chemical elements—like carbon and oxygen—create ideal conditions for life. Sunlight provides a continuous energy source, making planets, in theory, the natural candidates for sustaining life. However, the authors…
