London Eye To Close

Tourists Staying Away from Terror in UK Capital

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. Also known as the Millennium Wheel, it has also been called by its owners the British Airways London Eye, the Merlin Entertainments London Eye, the EDF Energy London Eye and, as of mid-January 2015, the Coca-Cola London Eye.

Theresa May has said police and intelligence services need to launch a review after three terrorists slipped through the net to launch the London Bridge attacks.

In an interview with Sky’s Political Editor Faisal Islam, the Prime Minister refused to say whether Boris Johnson was right to say the public would be asking questions about how the attackers were missed.

Security services have come under pressure after it emerged one of the attackers, Khuram Butt, 27, had been reported to the anti-terror hotline in 2015, when Mrs May was Home Secretary.
