21 Funny Memes to Send to Your Therapist That Will Have Them Laughing At Your Dark Sense of Humor (April 26, 2025) #Fun

Do you ever sit there and start thinking about something that you thought you were done thinking about? Something you thought would never bother you again, but here you are just sitting there minding your own business and your brain decides to drift back into that thought process. It’s like your brain and your iPhone’s “on this day” photo throwback real teamed up to give you the most depressing carousel of images. You can go to therapy your entire life, but healing isn’t linear and, let’s be honest, you might have healed from those memories, but it’s not like you Men In Black-ed yourself. Those memories will always be there, unfortunately. So what do you do when this happens? I mean, you can do the things your therapist suggest—breath worth, meditation, journaling, living in that moment and explore why your mind drifted back to it, etc. Or, you can do what we do and meme about it…

25+ Midwest Memes for Nice Folks Who Say Ope (April 25, 2025) #Fun

As famous salty mama Morgan Wallen said, “Get me to God’s country.” But by “God’s country” I mean a place where there are Culver’s upon Culver’s, endless streams of cheese curds, corn as far as the eye can see, and puppy chow aplenty. They say there’s no place like home, and that remains true. It’s just the feeling of it. The feeling of knowing that you’re no more than 5 miles away from the nearest casserole. Knowing that the weather is as unpredictable as our sports teams, and taking comfort in that. Knowing that whenever you need to scootch by someone at the grocery store, you will get an “ope sorry” in response to your “ope sorry.”

The Midwest contains multitudes. There are as many ways to be Midwestern as there are Midwesterners in the world. And some of us are ex-pats, forced to be the token flatlander among our friends. But there are a few things we can agree on.

Listen, they don’t call it cold, hard reality for nothing. A lot of the time, it feels pretty bad! While it might seem unnecessarily negative to say it, there is a veritable wealth of awful things that can and do happen to us, and they don’t necessarily come with a sweetener. Or do they? The human brain it an amazing thing, and it has some safety nets when things seem to be going badly. One of the most vital of these is probably delusion. Every so often, you just need to go to a different place where everything is better and nothing hurts. There isn’t anything wrong with that, so long as you don’t get carried away, of course. Taking a peek at a few delusion-supporting memes is the perfect way to feel better about getting lost in the recesses of your imagination occasionally. Sometimes, delulu really is the solulu.

28 Memes That Are Art Imitating Life #Fun

Memes are living proof that a thing doesn’t have to be fancy and highbrow for it to be a kind of art, and that art can be inspired by the most ordinary and unassuming of things. Relatable humor is one of the cornerstones of internet culture, and it is undeniable that memes have turned it into a contemporary art form that many other forms of art could only hope to imitate. Luckily, they do not have to, because we have so many memes made precisely for our viewing pleasure, many of which are all about the real life that we hope to have a brief escape from. For some reason, it’s more fun when we are looking at a screen telling us how we feel as we go about our daily business, even if it happens to be negative. The human brain is silly in that way, but it’s not like we can stop it.

Do you ever think about how much of life just appears to be pure coincidence? The reason that many people get a lucky break that leads them to happiness and success, or experience something awful that derails everything, relies solely on a random twist of fate. Of course, there are those who would argue that there is no such thing as a coincidence, but most people don’t philosophize about the weird and random events that happen to them like that. This can even happen in more subtle ways, like seeing something on TV or overhearing someone saying something that has an uncanny applicability to your current situation. This weirdness can also come in meme form. It’s no surprise that it is one of the ways in which the most relatable of the lowbrow arts comes in handy. It’s sometimes enough to make you think twice, and you never know, that could happen with one of the examples below.

25 Memes to Browse Before Hitting The Hay #Fun

We are all living in a golden age of mattress technology. I take it for granted that I can order a mattress right to my apartment in a box without going to a mattress store and have no problems with it. I am forever grateful that I was brought into this world after water beds went out of style. I have seen Edward Scissorhands, and I’m not confident that a similar situation would not happen to me if I had a bed filled with water (I can be a little clumsy with my scissors, what can I say?)

I take it even more for granted that I’m sleeping in a bed at all! To be honest, all this reflection is making me realize how comfy my life is. I could be sleeping on the floor every night! I could be sleeping on a bushel of hay in a barn. I’m grateful I get to roll over in my full bed from Wayfair every night, and if you feel similarly, you can enjoy even more abundance with these funny memes

20 Buzzy Mosquito Memes That Have Some Bite #Fun

Honestly, it sometimes feels like a disproportionate amount of hate gets lumped onto insects like wasps when it should be given to mosquitoes instead. They might not sting, but there is no misery quite like being bitten all over and spending the next week feeling the itchiest you have ever felt in your life. And that’s before we even get into the disease risk.

It isn’t fun being an insect bite-prone person, which undeniably increases the ire that you might direct at mosquitoes compared to one of those annoyingly smug individuals that claim they never get bitten. However, as with most annoying things, they can be a great conduit for humor and silly memes on the topic. If we didn’t have the unfortunate experience of mosquito bites, we wouldn’t be able to relate to all the dumb images that delight in them, such as what can be found if you scroll a little further.

The Best Heartwarmingly Wholesome Memes and Posts of the Week (April 17, 2025) #Fun

It doesn’t have to take a lot of time or effort to improve somebody’s day, whether that be other people or yourself. Paying a friend a compliment or, say, telling somebody to skip in front of you in the checkout line takes a matter of seconds, but these small moments add up.

We could argue that this is also part of the driving philosophy behind wholesome memes. You can process what a heartwarming meme or post is saying in a tiny amount of time, but the impact it may have can easily outstrip the effort it takes to process it.

To make the process even simpler, we like to collect the best of wholesomeness on the internet for your viewing pleasure in one uncomplicated list. Good things happen every day, and sometimes they get posted on the internet with the happy consequence of spreading the joy even further than before.

A Touch of Memes to Cure What Ails You #Fun

Once you have spent enough years of your life looking at nonsense on the internet, it becomes apparent that if you search hard enough, there really is some kind of meme for every single situation. All of the post-online human experience (plus a bit before and after) is summed up in the stupidity that is silly image macros and videos.

By this logic, whatever you may be feeling or whatever you are going through in life, you are in safe hands when you turn to memes. Sure, it might be that they don’t provide exactly what you are searching for, but they will still give you a welcome distraction nonetheless. This list is no different. It is here to put a smile on your face, metaphorically speaking at least, with the amusement that it has to offer. The only way to find out if it is going o work is to keep on scrolling.

A Snapshot of 30 Memes #Fun

While I am not here to defend them as high-quality art (not all of the time, at least), I think it is safe to say that those who look upon memes as having no value whatsoever seem a little bit silly in this day and age. Sometimes, it takes a true internet humor connoisseur to understand, but looking at the majority of memes gives a tiny glimpse into the times it was made in, and therefore, society at large. Sure, the insights may not be groundbreaking, but they don’t have to be. Sometimes, just having access to that record of what was happening and what somebody was thinking is good enough for history. It is yet another layer to consider when you are enjoying your daily allotted dose of brainrot, scrolling until the next thing that you deem amusing enough to make it worth it. Perhaps this can aid in that.

As a wise woman once said, every day that comes, comes once in a lifetime. Judy Garland was really onto something with that one, as she was onto a lot of things. Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, there actually is a lan that I heard of once in a lullaby: go figure! Everybody likes to call that woman a tragic Hollywood figure, even though that’s not at all how she thought of herself. She was somebody who was exploited by the studio system and the crushing demands of the 30s and 40s motion picture industry. During her life, so many people thought of her as only a voice and not a full-fledged human being. Judy Garland was an impeccable singer, but she was also hilarious, a loving mother, and a positive presence in the lives of people around her. In the words of Judy herself:

“Only once comes this particular sky
Only once these precious hours go by
Only once in a lifetime a day comes by
So live, live, live, come on and live today!”

If your idea of living today begins with a nice hot steaming pile of memes, than you’ve come to the right place.

Funniest Cat Memes for Feline Fanatics (April 9, 2025) #Fun

Cats have been domesticated for many thousands of years now, and it isn’t difficult to see why. On the feline end, they get endless food and attention, their every need catered to by their servants with opposable thumbs. Meanwhile, humans get the joy of sharing their space with a cute little furry animal that purrs and lets them pet them every so often.

If you have a cat or several in your house, there is also the great benefit of the humor that they will likely bring to your life. No matter how seriously they take themselves, cats have a habit of being extremely funny. It’s no wonder they have had such a lasting shelf life when it comes to memes, succeeding in multiple different iterations of internet humor. Some examples of that can be found below, in all of their varied and amusing feline glory. Enjoy, cat lovers.

25+ Baking Memes Putting a Tray of Cookies in the Oven #Fun

There’s always time for a cookie. I don’t think there’s ever a time when I would say no to one. Wherever you are, no matter what you’re doing, a cookie is a good idea. They’re portable, so you don’t have to worry about having a plate or a fork. They’re usually crushable within a few bites, so you don’t really need time to eat them. And they’re delicious, so you’re always in the mood for one. Unless you’re in a Grinch-type situation where townspeople have been feeding you so many desserts that you think you’re about to pop. That’s the only appropriate situation when you could turn one down.

There would be no cookies, though, without the good folks who make them. Bakers should hold a special place in the ranks of society. When everything is collapsing, we turn to them for support. We need them to make our dark days bright again.

While it is easy to get stuck in the circumstances of the present, it is important to remember that even major things can change in the blink of an eye. The annoying bit is that we don’t always know when that is going to happen, and the waiting period can feel like it is interminable.

It is for this very reason that we need an adequate distraction when we are going through such a thing, and indeed when a lot of potentially overwhelming action is happening around us, too. Considering that you have found yourself here, it is likely that you realize memes are a great way to do this. The next big and important change might be just around the corner, but in the meantime, internet humor is here to bridge the gap with all of its distracting yet often relatable ridiculousness that helps to get so many through every day.

Everyone seems to associate coziness with fall. We think about curling up with a hot tea while the leaves change, planning our Halloween costumes. There’s something about cold weather that ups our urge to get lost under a pile of blankets for a while. I’m here to say, though, that coziness is equally important in Spring. Sure, we might be shedding layers and frolicking a bit more in the meadow, but the need to read a book in a comfy outfit hardly ever wanes, if you’re me.

Plus, greenery and flowers and fresh-mowed laws are equally cozy as pumpkins and chai lattes. It’s all about perspective. So if you need a little dose of what the Scandinavians call “hygge,” you’re in the right place. These memes don’t raise your heart rate, they lower it. They inspire you to pick out a good book and lay out a gingham blanket in the grass.

25 Memes Holding Out for a Hero #Fun

In the words of Bonnie Tyler, “Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods? Where’s the streetwise Hercules to fight the risin’ odds? Isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed? Late at night, I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need. I need a hero. I’m holding out for a hero till the end of the night. He’s gotta be strong and he’s gotta be fast, and he’s gotta be fresh from the fight.” If you’re like me, you probably first heard that song in the incredible, near-perfect movie Shrek 2, sung by the fairy godmother who was voiced by Jennifer Saunders. And it stayed with you ever since. The chorus echoes in your mind, a plea for something… heroic to come along.

Heroes can take many shapes and forms. They can be the teacher who taught you how to read an analog clock. They can be your cat that saved you from a long spell of sadness. And they are memes that save you from boredom.

There’s nothing like taking the day to pamper yourself. Whether you’re going all out and getting a scrub down at a day spa or you’re slapping some cream on your face in the bathroom mirror, it’s important that you treat yourself every now and again. You put so much effort into your job, into your family, into your hobbies that it’s easy to forget yourself. You wake up feeling tired and drink an extra cup of coffee to compensate, neglecting to address the underlying problems.

What can help turn this around are rest days. Not just days when you catch up on chores and end up deep cleaning your entire house, but actual rest days. This can mean lounging in bed with a good book, getting lost in its pages, and ignoring the time of day. It can mean spending all afternoon petting your dog (he wouldn’t mind that). Or it can mean sitting back with a good list of memes.

32 Memes to Branch Out With #Fun

Many may argue that spending your spare time browsing memes is just about the most risk-averse act imaginable. It is the epitome of staying comfortable in your comfort zone, a kind of managed inertia that drip-feeds you mild entertainment for hours upon hours every day.

While the procrastination element of it can’t be ignored, we also cannot turn a blind eye to the endless possibilities for adventure that come with exploring the world of internet humor. It can expose you to random ephemera and ways of thinking that you may not have seen otherwise, and whether you like it or not it still adds to the expansion of your mind.

When you dive into a meme list like this, it promises to open up some of these kinds of opportunities. All you have to do is keep on scrolling and enjoy the randomness that will shortly be coming your way.

The Best Heartwarmingly Wholesome Memes and Posts of the Week (March 20, 2025) #Fun

There are vanishingly few things in this world that you can’t have too much of. Overindulging in a favorite food will give you a stomach ache, a mountain of work will stress you out, and an excess of money tends to corrupt. Facing the consequences of too much of a good thing is something that everybody learns about at one point or another, but one area in which we can never have to shoulder that unfortunate burden is wholesomeness. Nobody would get anywhere without love, attention, and support, and these are exactly the kind of qualities that a wholesome environment fosters. One easy path toward these happy feelings is the world of wholesome memes, where goodness abounds in all kinds of different forms. It’s hard to be sad when there are so many reminders of reasons not to be, as packaged in consumable internet content form like the images below.

Ever feel like you need to know if there is something more to this puny existence that we have? If you do, you won’t be the first, nor will you be the last. The hope and desire that there is meaning in the madness a hidden depth that not everybody can see is a compelling idea that countless individuals have dedicated lifetimes to.

Some may argue that the existence of memes is a loud and proud refutation of this, embracing a pointless nihilism of endless tiny tidbits of entertainment. Here at Memebase, though, we would like to think a little differently. Perhaps the act of looking at memes isn’t just simple procrastination, but rather a temporary ascension to a more spiritual plane of amusement through which the internet is a portal. That being said, you don’t have to believe in it to scroll on and enjoy this selection of memes.

40+ Memes That Beat Temple Run-Family Guy Videos #Fun

If you’ve looked around the internet lately, you might’ve noticed that a lot of it is slop. I feel like 5 years ago, I was regularly engaging with interesting, thought-provoking, and entertaining content on nearly every social media platform I used, but recently, it’s felt like all of the good stuff is buried under thousands of tons of slop. I don’t know if it’s because Elon Musk bought Twitter or I’ve just gotten older, but I’m getting sucked into the slop just as much as any 12-year-old boy who doesn’t know a life without Roblox. My entire Instagram Reels feed is nothing but clips of Temple Run gameplay with Family Guy clips playing over it. I don’t even like Family Guy and its gag-based comedy, but I am not immune to the Peter Griffin propaganda. The only way I can stop watching inane stuff like this is by turning off my phone and putting it in a drawer.

25+ Memes Passed Down From Generation to Generation #Fun

There are lots of things we inherit from our ancestors, whether we like it or not. Maybe you have your mother’s eyes. Maybe you have your father’s sense of humor. Maybe you have your grandmother’s aversion to spinach. Maybe you have your great-great-great-grandfather’s affinity for bananas, but you would never really know that would you? Some things are ambiguous that we inherit, and we may never fully know where we get each part of our personalities, and if anything we’ve ever done is original. This is the pain of being a human. We’re made up of people and experiences, and we hope the whole is greater than the sum of those parts.

So it’s good to think about what you’re leaving behind. Not only in terms of legacy- maybe you have children, maybe you have a business, maybe you’ve produced art that will outlive you. But maybe you can purposefully leave something that will really be of value to generations to come- memes.

28 Esoteric Memes For Smart Folk #Fun

I know who you are. You’re the former gifted kid everyone’s always talking about. Every parent and teacher in your life told you that you were a genius when you were in Elementary school, and of course, you believed it! Why wouldn’t you accept such a flattering narrative? Now that you’re an adult, things don’t come as easy to you, and you have to work hard like everyone else. What a shame…

If you are a truly gifted kid, you should be able to translate your childhood interest in computers or reading adult chapter books into a lifelong fascination with learning. But a lot of times, that doesn’t happen, and those of us who were just plain mediocre get to rise up to become the smart adults. It doesn’t matter if you’re a gifted kid, a gifted adult, or a normal person who is learning and growing every day…these memes are for you.

23 Memes That’ll Make You Relive Middle School Whether You Want to or Not #Fun

Middle school was an era. Not necessarily a good one, but definitely a memorable one. It was the time of cringe-worthy fashion choices (gauchos, anyone?), aggressively side-parted hair, and math problems with absolutely unhinged premises (like Jim buying 150 pounds of fruit and needing to divide them into piles of seven). And if you weren’t drowning in Axe body spray fumes, were you even in middle school?

We all had that friend who was boyfriend-girlfriend with someone for two days and acted like they were engaged, complete with public Facebook status changes and all. I grew up in the era of Facebook when kids were way too young to have social media, but we all lied about our ages to make a profile (much to the horror of our future selves). Seriously, they should have been teaching us about digital footprints back then because the early internet was wild. Just imagine the damage an unsupervised middle schooler with a profile could do.

There is something very satisfying about a well-packed lunchbox. It is, in essence, a three or four-course meal plus drink packed into a space small and convenient enough that you can take it to school or work to enjoy on your break. The possibilities of what a packed lunch can be are almost endless, although a lot of people tend to stick to the safe sandwich, pre-packaged snack and piece of fruit combination. To be fair, so long as you pick the things that you like, it’s hard to go wrong. The main issue, especially if you’re in the workplace, is not eating it all before 12PM (it’s easy to start snacking out of boredom). These lunch box memes are here to remind you of all the various feelings we can have when we make our midday meal portable. There are sure to be some relatable moments to be found here.

25 Hilarious Sci-Fi Memes to Fill Your Nerdy Needs (March 10, 2025) #Fun

I would love to adopt an alien, like they did in E.T. It would be like having a pet but even better. Everyone has a pet, but not everyone has an alien. You could ask it all about its home planet and perhaps learn some of their language. You could see if it has any special capabilities that humans don’t have. The one drawback would be that you’d have to hide him from the government, lest they take it away to conduct tests. And you’d probably feel a little guilty that you were essentially kidnapping it from its home planet and thus depriving it of a childhood there, even if it wasn’t your fault.

Luckily these things are all explored in the film E.T., thus leaving us satisfied and touched. This is exactly what sci-fi is good for. It teaches us about improbable eventualities without us having to live them ourselves.

Whew! We’ve nearly made it through yet another brutal winter with one mission: to make us forget what warmth on our skin felt like. We’re not totally in the clear yet, but I believe we’ve finally surpassed “Fool’s spring” and successfully made it to the real deal. With the clocks springing forward an hour this weekend, we’ll have extra sunlight… can you believe that? I don’t remember what life was like when the sun set after 6 PM…

Even though we’ve made it to spring, we’re still in for lots of rain, lots of pollen, and LOTS of bugs coming back to stay with us for the summer. For those lucky enough to get a taste of all four seasons, you’re probably restless thinking about going outside in just a t-shirt and jeans. The warmth isn’t for everyone, but it’s safe to say we’ve all been missing some vitamin D. While you wait, stick around for some vitamin Meme.

25 Memes Rolling On Like a Rolling Stone #Fun

It’s official, Timothée Chalamet did not win the Oscar for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. As much as Club Chalamet would have liked for that not to be the case, it is. Whether or not you thought he deserved it, perhaps we can all agree that “Like a Rolling Stone” is indeed a banger for the ages. The opening organ chord, his signature drawl, the insisting chorus of “How does it feel?” That’s a song that immediately puts you on your toes from its very first bar. No wonder we’re still exploring its origins and impacts in 2024/2025.

The central idea of the song is an interesting one: exploring what it’s like to be a tumbleweed through this thing we call life, never quite landing somewhere, just rolling on to infinity and forever after. To be on your own, a complete unknown. But there are a few things that keep the lonely traveler company, and memes are one of them.

25+ Spicy Food Memes for Spice Lovers Adding Hot Sauce to Everything #Fun

Everyone has a different spice tolerance. To some, even ranch dressing borders on too much. Others could down a bottle of ghost pepper hot sauce and still save room for some Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Odds are, at some point in your life, you’ve tested the boundaries of your spice tolerance. You’ve eagerly downed a bowl of spicy ramen just to realize that your face has turned red and you’ll probably be fighting for your life in the bathroom shortly. But it’s worth it. Spice is flavor.

Why else would we insist on keeping hot sauce  on the tables of our diners and breakfast places? Because eggs are nothing without them. Why do some of us carry around a little bottle of Tajin just in case? Because you never know if you’re going to need it. Why do we have a celebrity interview show revolving around eating hot chicken wings? Because spice makes you vulnerable.

I love people who have a unique laugh. That is to say, I love myself. My laugh has gone through many iterations over the years. I think there was a time many years ago when I had a normal laugh, but once my Trixie Mattel-esque bird-esque scream laughing came into my life, I haven’t been the same since. I am also known to employ a laugh that sounds like flatulence. That’s the laugh I do when someone says something that’s not that funny, but I feel that I should laugh at it anyway. People comment on your laugh when it’s unique, and you’re supposed to feel like that’s bad. I’ve had two standup comedians call me out for laughing at their comedy in a way they found distracting. In my eyes, a weird laugh is something to be celebrated. Joy should not be edited for the comfort of others. Even if your laugh is going “HEE HEE HO HO” at an uncomfortably high volume, I hope you enjoy this collection of random funny memes.

25+ Architecture Memes from Brutalist to Bauhaus #Fun

Some of the greatest characters in television and cinema are architects. For example, Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother is an architect. He’s always going off about old buildings and whatnot. Or Laszlo Toth in the Oscar-nominated feature, The Brutalist, a Hungarian architect trying to make his as an immigrant to America after the Second World War. Architecture is a very compelling visual storytelling device. And I don’t know about you, but I love a compelling visual storytelling device.

Architecture is all around, literally. It’s easy to forget (if you’re me) that somebody had to design and build… all of this. The office you’re sitting in, the apartment you’ll go home to, the corner store you’ll stop in for a bag of chips. They were all once ideas, and then drawings, and then meetings with engineers.

25+ Midwest Memes for Nice Folks Who Say Ope (February 21, 2025) #Fun

Being a Midwesterner in February begs the question, what the heck do you do with your time, seeing as you’re stuck inside for most of it? Unless you want to put on mittens, a scarf, and a hat every day just to walk from your car to the post office, odds are you’ve become accustomed to living indoors. You don’t mind a night in with some microwave popcorn and the newest episode of Severance. You’re well acquainted with the curves of your own couch, and you don’t mind curling up on it for hours at a time. You could spend all day looking out your window, watching the snowfall.

That is, unless you’re a different kind of Midwesterner, and you brave the outdoors like a madman. You’re out there snow-blowing, snow mobile-ing, building snowmen, and generally causing a ruckus. And if that’s you, I commend you. We need that type of person to keep up our Midwest ethos.

22 Employee Burnout Memes to Get You Through Your Winter Work Slump (February 21, 2025) #Fun

Now that it’s almost the weekend, the woes of the workweek are far behind us and we have a grand two days to decompress before we enter our workplaces yet again. Severance was onto something with this whole work/life balance thing. I wish my “party in the back” brain could go to sleep while my “business in the front” brain made small talk at the water cooler with Greg and Sally. Sigh. Such is life.

It’s not all bad, though. The weekend is something to look forward to. It is a reward for our 9-5 grind five days a week. Even though we should probably get more than two days off 104 times a year. You can do the math on that, but it’s not nearly enough for what we endure day-to-day during the week. Luckily, we have just what you need to help you kick back, relax, and meme it out into the weekend with a smile.

Memes to Give Pause to #Fun

Who among us hasn’t looked at things going on in the world at any given point and asked, “why the heck is everybody so dumb?”. While our reasons for doing this and the ways in which we express it may differ, it is pretty common to occasionally despair about how many of us choose to share the brain cells that we have. If we’re being honest, no matter what we might think of our own intelligence, there are probably some people who have directed this sentiment toward us, too. While many may argue there is no cure for stupidity, there are some methods to minimize its effects. One of these is taking a little extra time to think before we react, and we can even start doing this while doing the most inconsequential of things, like looking at memes. Don’t listen to anybody who says they shave off IQ points. They don’t know what they’re talking about.

A Wild Pack of Memes Roaming the Earth #Fun

Why is it that young humans love to roll in packs? You see this in schools the world over. Kids love roaming around town with other kids, marauding and haunting. I think it’s because there’s safety in numbers. It’s hard to be the odd one out when you have a friend group that will have your back. It’s also because groups usually have a social organization system you can easily fall into. There is usually a clear leader, who calls the shots and sets the tone. Then everyone else falls in rank and file, waiting to be told what to do (under the illusion that they could be the shot-caller themselves).

This gets less and less true as you get older. The group formations tend to fall away until you’re left with your own family unit, which is a pack unto itself. Then you get to watch your kids find their own crew, and the cycle continues.

Prescription of 30+ Restless Memes for Scardey Cats Nervous Before Therapy #Fun

Life is a wild ride, and by wild ride, I mean a never-ending loop of wondering if you should have worn a different shirt today. Every decision feels like it holds the fate of the world, even if it’s just what to eat for breakfast.

Anxiety is like that one friend who shows up uninvited but never leaves—and honestly, you’re starting to think you should just make them a key. It’s the constant whisper in your ear telling you that maybe, just maybe, you’re doing everything wrong.

But fear not! And welcome to the world’s most unofficial, unaccredited, and utterly unserious therapy session. If you’ve ever realized that adulting is 90% just pretending to know what you’re doing and 10% frantically Googling “how to make small talk,” then you’re in good company.

Pobody’s Nerfect. Wait, I mean Nobody’s Perfect. Proving my own dang point. Everyone, and I mean everyone has flaws. Even Dolly Parton. She only made one Dollywood, and that’s a flaw. Part of being human is messing up. We sometimes hold opinions that we later learn to be based on false information. We hurt the feelings of others on accident, and sometimes on purpose. We push doors that say “pull” and we don’t always rewind the tape before we give it back to Blockbuster (for those old heads in the audience). And we wouldn’t want to be perfect. Perfect would mean that there’s nothing left to work on, no reason to get out of bed in the morning. Perfect would be inhuman.

What we can do, though, is approach perfection. Like that perfect slice of pizza that came right out of the oven– saucy, salty, cheesy, and chewy, all in the right proportions. Fleeting, but almost perfect.

30 Memes For Very Online Adults #Fun

I am so glad I grew up offline. Don’t get me wrong, I cherish and enjoy every single solitary second I spend on this sacred place we call “the internet.” However, I’m glad my uncensored access to the World Wide Web didn’t begin until I was 12. I still grew up during the era when little kids didn’t have phones, and we just watched the same episode of Hannah Montana over and over again to amuse ourselves. We were still frying our brains but with Cartoon Network instead of TikTok. Kids no longer go through the phase of having a flip phone during middle school before they’re responsible enough to handle having an actual smartphone. Whether you like it or not, we’ve built our society around phone dependency for literally every demographic. It’s not going away anytime soon, so you might as well enjoy every second of brain-smoothening entertainment that the internet has to offer.

34 Memes That Go Through the Motions #Fun

For those of us (i.e. the majority) who have spent a significant portion of our lives poisoning our brains with whatever oddities we can find on the internet, looking at memes is essentially part of our routine. Just like we may make time in the morning to make our coffee or do our skincare routine, a customary scroll through whatever funny tidbits social media and beyond are willing to give us has become customary. That doesn’t mean that it has to be boring, though. On the contrary, phone time in bed is the highlight of the day for many people, and it’s easy to see why. There is just too much entertainment to be had in the land of memes, which both riff on the mundanities of everyday life and act as a form of escapism from them. It’s a pretty good deal for something that is free, and easy to access.

35 Memes to Lovingly Gaze Upon #Fun

I hate when I’m looking at my phone and laughing, and someone asks me, “What are you laughing at?” 9/10 times, I’m laughing at something that they do not care about or a joke they wouldn’t get. In that moment, I’m given three unappealing options. I could explain the joke, tell them, “Oh, it’s nothing,” or lie and say it’s some random meme. The majority of the time, I will pick #2 and try to salvage the conversation from there, but sometimes I boldly show them the tweet, meme, or text message in question.

These are the kinds of memes you wouldn’t feel embarrassed to show to an acquaintance after laughing at them a little too loudly in public. Memes of this quality don’t come around every day, so it might be imperative to intentionally scroll through them in a public place and laugh out loud to your heart’s desire.

38 Memes With Whimsy at Heart #Fun

In an effort to engage in more positive thinking recently, I have been engaging in what I like to call (for lack of a better term) ‘Yaymaxxing’. When I think about what I am going to do next, I add the word ‘yay’ to the end of my thought process whether it’s something that I want to do or not. It doesn’t matter if I have to finish something at work or if I’m going to hang out with friends, it is all yay-worthy to me.

Is it a ridiculous thing to do? Absolutely, but for whatever reason it seems to make a difference. I’m all for adding some extra whimsy to the mundanities of everyday life, and many memes concur with me on that. If we only have this one short life, we have to make it enjoyable where we can. Looking at funny pictures on the internet can easily be part of that.

A Mouthful of Hilarious Cooking Memes for Amateur Chefs (February 5, 2025) #Fun

Cooking is one of the very few chores that is always personal to the person who is doing it. Everybody has different skillsets, tastes, and types of cuisine that they have practiced, and it is part of what makes the world of food such an interesting and varied place with so many different things to try.

However, all the wonderful meals that we have to try today only came about through a lot of trial and error. Not every adventure in the kitchen results in a treasured recipe, and that is just the price we have to pay for the wonder that is food. It also widens the scope of the genre of memes that consider cooking. From delectable treats to things that are one hundred percent going to be scraped into the trash after one bite, this humor celebrates it all. You will never find dinner plans more humorous than this.

23 Always Tired Memes for Sleepy People Who Are Always Exhausted Whether They Sleep 12 Hours or Two #Fun

In search of a job that pays me to sleep. Does that exist? I’m not talking about research studies, I’m talking just let me honk shoo mee mee mee alone in my bedroom. Just trust me, that is what I’m doing in there, and then you pay me? Is that a thing?! A girl can dream! Instead, I have to be brave and set an alarm to go off every weekday morning. And then I have to STOP hitting snooze five times. If I’m going to do that, I might as well just set the alarm for later, right?? No, because I’m supposed to be getting up earlier. I should not hit snooze at all. But dang, that button is such a tease.

So, you guessed it, I slept through my alarm today. Sometimes that’s an even better alarm than the actual alarm, because then you wake up, realize you slept through your alarm, and then the adrenaline starts PUMPING through you. I got ready in like 10 minutes, which usually takes me a nice calm and slow full hour. But not today! Today I panicked, throw on the same pair of pants, and bolted to the train. Was only a few minutes late, so that’s good! But I am also exhausted…

30 Memes to Spruce Up The Place #Fun

Look around you…this room could use a little more decoration or maybe some flowers to spruce it up. Nobody can live in a millennial gray apartment with no windows and maintain their happiness; it’s unnatural. We as humans need beauty in our field of vision, and what better way to see beauty constantly than to make your environment to your liking? You can’t always control where you live or how nice your house is on the outside, but you can control what you put in your home and what you throw away. Even a little accent wall or a nice framed poster on the wall can take space to the next level.

If you like the way your room looks already, maybe you’re the thing that needs sprucing up. If you are down in the dumps and need a picker-upper, these memes will give you a makeover powered solely by laughs.

32 Memes That Can’t Stop Coming And Won’t Stop Coming #Fun

Here we are once again. Another day, another list of 30ish memes for you to consume in any way you want to. It’s pretty miraculous that these memes keep on coming. You should be so lucky to get a fresh stack of brand-new memes in a randomized order every 12 hours. Who knew that there were so many memes in the world? It’s like we’re Daniel Day-Lewis in the film adaptation of Upton Sinclair’s novel Oil! We’re excising this incredible resource from the ground and making it available much more ethically than Daniel Plainview ever could. We would never do the things he did to Paul Dano, aka Eli Sunday. Memes are not worth hitting a guy with a bowling pin over. Memes are not worth abandoning your deaf child for. These comparisons might be getting fuzzy, but if you love memes as much as Daniel Plainview loved having a confusing accent, you’ve come to the right place.

36 Memes That Pay Their Dues #Fun

The existence of internet culture as we know it relies on a reciprocal relationship between content creators and consumers. Without that, there wouldn’t be any entertainment on the internet to speak of. Looking at and reacting to all of the silly memes and videos that we come across is almost like a price we pay for access to even more content designed to distract and amuse. It is a never-ending cycle that those who create are just as glad to participate in as those who consume. It means that assuming that we’re chronically online enough, it’s kind of our duty to seek out all the ridiculous things that people on the internet have decided are amusing today. At least it is one chore that we can find fun in easily, and there is no shortage of examples for us to focus on. The next task comes in the form of the examples below.
