They literally came out with <i>The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Tarzan, </i>and <i>The Rescuers Down Under,</i> all in one measly decade. Who does that? Not DreamWorks, that's for sure. </p><p style="margin-left:0px">I know I'm not the only one who thinks that the only reason that <i>Shrek </i>had the success it did was that it came out right after a decade of Disney's dominance at the box office. Obviously, the point of the movie was to satirize the sanitized <a href="https://cheezburger.com/21402629/the-funniest-disney-memes-of-the-week-july-16-2023"><u>fairy tales</u></a> Disney has always been known for. Even though I love <i>Shrek</i> and its sequels (and am anxiously awaiting the release of <i>Shrek 5</i>), I can't help but admit that the corny '90s Disney movies have aged better than the reference-filled orge film deriding the <a href="https://cheezburger.com/21177093/the-funniest-disney-memes-of-the-week-july-2-2023"><u>Disney Renaissance</u></a>. </p></div>
