On Thursday, May 1 at 11:30AM ET, I am scheduled to give a public presentation at a bipartisan U.S. congressional briefing on “Understanding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP): Science, National Security & Innovation,” hosted by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability and the Task Force on the Declassification and Federal Secrets — led by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna. The live-stream video will be available here. Read MoreIn our current era, we tend to glorify the author and hold the original text in high esteem. We regard Shakespeare with particular reverence, and his text is held aloft as the sacrosanct work of genius. But this was not always the case. In fact, an altered edition of Romeo and Juliet was widely printed and preferred over Shakespeare’s authoritative text for over a century.

Whose great power and eternal
Wisdom embraces the universe,

Law enforcement officers everywhere.
Protect them from harm
In the performance of their duty

Riots and violence.

Read MoreIt’s so sad to watch parents s*ck the joy out of things their kids enjoy. So many kids would be delighted playing school sports in a casual, fun environment, but because their parents don’t want them to unless they’re going to be the best at them, many kids don’t even bother playing sports in the first place. There are kids who love to do theater for fun, but their parents make the experience miserable by giving them notes and picking apart their performance before they ever even get onstage. You would think that these parents would be happy that their kid has an extracurricular activity they enjoy, but that’s not good enough in this highly competitive world. Even if you’re not looking at it from a competitive or extracurricular angle, it is incredibly easy for a parent or guardian to take joyful and harmless things away from their dependents.

There is no robot, horse, or dog that could outdo them in a game of wits, and it would take an incredibly strong man to do it in one try. These memes have been groomed their entire lives to perform at this exact moment on an international stage while the entire world watches on with bated breath. They know what it would mean to bring home a gold medal of meme-ry to their families, and are determined not to crack under the pressure. They have not skipped one day of training since they knew they would be competing, and if you take one look at them, it shows in their corporeal forms. If you won’t glance at a meme unless it is at peak performance, you’ve come to the right list of 30 memes on the right day.
Riding high on its performance in the 2024 general elections, the Congress party faced a crushing defeat in the Maharashtra and Haryana assembly polls. Read More[allAfrica] The African investment climate is optimistic. The African Development Bank’s 2024 outlook was explicit. Africa’s economic performance was strong and shows resilience, but that performance has been slower than expected and uneven. With challenges and global shocks, Africa’s 2022 GDP growth slipped from 4.1 to 3.1 percent in 2023, yet, forecasters predict with smart policy and stable global conditions, it could climb to 3.7 percent in 2024, and 4.3 percent in 2025, making it the second-fastest growing
Read MoreThe opportunity to encounter exotic phenomena makes life thrilling. In contrast, the boring routine is to meet the mundane. We crave for the exotic over the mundane. Because of this tendency, Richard Feynman warned: “We must be careful not to believe things simply because we want them to be true. No one can fool you as easily as you can fool yourself.” This pearl of wisdom cautions not to get carried away with the interpretation of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Yesterday, a reporter from the New York Post sent me a video taken by a television news crew from a…

Read MoreAs a former community theater child actor, I have seen my fair share of crazy stage parents. The craziest ones weren’t screaming from the audience saying, “Sing out Louise,” but were constantly putting ideas in their child’s head about how they had to be the best puppy in the production of 101 Dalmations KIDS or else! I definitely think giving notes to your 8-year-old about how they could improve their performance is much more damaging than being an overly enthusiastic audience member.
The mom in this story is both a bad audience member and a harsh critic. When her 5-year-old son was onstage during his Kindergarten play, he was sucking on the strings of the giraffe hat he was wearing. If he were ten and doing that, it would be cause for concern, but at this age, parents can only laugh at harmless mistakes like that, or so I thought. This mom decided to bark at him from the audience to tell him to stop sucking on the string, much to the dismay of her husband.
