Art installation “Himmelsleiter” (Billi Thanner) on the tower of St. Lambert’s Church in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
The artwork came from St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna to St. Lambert’s Church in Münster in September 2022. It remained there until March 2024 and has been on display at Saint-Eustache Church in Paris since May 2024. |

The legacy of the 1900 Paris Exposition lives on through several iconic structures that still adorn the Parisian skyline today: the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, the Pont Alexandre III, the Gare d’Orsay railroad station (now the Musée d’Orsay), and two original entrances of Paris Métro stations designed by Hector Guimard.

View of the Fernsehturm (TV tower) from the bottom, Berlin, Germany. The tower, located close to Alexanderplatz in the center of the capital, was built between 1965 and 1969 by the government of the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). It was intended to be both a symbol of Communist power and of the city and remains today as one of its landmarks.
