UAE under fire, again.

Today (5), Iran reportedly launched a new wave of ‘missile and drone strikes’ against the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi said.

The Telegraph reported:

“The country’s ministry of defense said its air defenses were ‘dealing with missile and drone attacks originating from Iran’.

It added that the ‘sounds heard across areas of the country’ were the result of air defense systems ‘intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones’.”

Yesterday (4), Iran fired a barrage of drones and missiles after the US launched a major operation to control the Strait of Hormuz.

“Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s chief negotiator in the talks with the US, alluded to further attacks earlier today, warning that the Islamic Republic had ‘not even started yet’ in its standoff over the strait.”

The Sun reported:

“Today’s barrage of missiles will deepen concern that the pause in fighting has been cast aside altogether by Iran.

The US Navy sank seven Iranian small boats in the Strait of Hormuz as it launched Project Freedom to wrestle control of the waterway from the rogue nation.

The American plan to guide vessels through the strait has already seen several stranded ships escorted to safety.

And Trump yesterday refused to say if the ceasefire agreement still stands. When asked if the pause in fighting was ‘over’, he replied cryptically: ‘Well, I can’t tell you that’.”
