Those present for the Sept. 9 taping at St. Gerard’s included Prudence Pigott, Tri-County’s president; Msgr. George Hundt, pastor of St. Gerard Majella Parish; and Filippini Sister Jo-Ann Pompa, principal of St. Gerard School, along with students. Founded in 1981, Tri-County has supported St. Gerard’s with student scholarships over the years.

Bishop Sweeney will receive Tri-County’s Making a Difference Award for his dedicated ministry to the community and vocational leadership throughout the New York and New Jersey area.
Also at the gala, Tri-County will honor Lindsay Hans, president and co-head of Merrill Wealth Management and a member of Bank of America Corporation’s executive management team, and Deidre Meehan, worldwide vice president and general counsel, Innovative Medicine at Johnson & Johnson.
