The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is pulling a film that presents the harrowing journey of an Afghan teenager to Europe after the man featured in it was accused of the killing of a Scottish aid worker whose body was found inside a suitcase.

Sharif Ahmadzai, 26, was ordered jailed pending trial by a Greek court on Thursday in the death of Elisabeth-Jane Ross, a 38-year-old psychotherapist and volunteer aid worker from Scotland.

Elisabeth-Jane Ross traveled to Greece with a heart full of compassion, volunteering to help the very migrant communities that the political left insists are completely harmless. Instead of gratitude, she met a horrifying end.

Ross was reported missing in mid-July. Last week, her body was discovered by a homeless man. She had been dumped in a derelict building in Athens, shoved inside a suitcase.

Greek authorities arrested Ahmadzai, a professional boxer who arrived in Greece as an “unaccompanied minor” in 2016, received asylum in 2018 and had no prior criminal record.

According to police, CCTV footage caught Ahmadzai casually wheeling the heavy suitcase containing Ross’s body through the streets of Athens.

Authorities say he then stole her bank cards and drained €10,000 from her accounts.

He admits to dumping the body and stealing the cash but claims she was “already dead” when he found her. Sure.

According to Reuters, he told investigators that he found Ross dead in an apartment bathroom, panicked, placed her body in a suitcase and attempted to dispose of it.

The cause of death has not been established because of decomposition, and asphyxiation has not been ruled out. His attorney says the defense is waiting for the coroner’s report, toxicology results and other evidence.

Police and court reporting say surveillance footage played a central role in identifying the suspect. Authorities also accuse him of taking more than €10,000 ($11,500) from Ross’s accounts.

Here is where the story gets even more sickening. Ahmadzai wasn’t just any migrant. He was the darling of the NGO complex. He had even married an American aid worker and set up a “ministry” for refugees in Athens, according to Ariana News.

The Red Cross loved his story so much they featured him in a film tracking his journey from Afghanistan to Europe. He was the perfect prop for their open-borders propaganda.

But the moment the narrative collapsed and their “refugee success story” was charged with intentional homicide, the Red Cross panicked.

According to The Daily Mail, the Red Cross scrubbed the film from the internet. They don’t want you to know the truth. They want to memory-hole the disastrous results of their own policies.

The news outlet reported:

The Red Cross has deleted a film tracking the journey of an Afghan migrant who is now accused of killing a British woman and hiding her body in a suitcase in Greece.

[…]

It has now emerged the Afghan-national collaborated with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and a London artist to create a film following how he escaped Afghanistan and reached the Greek island of Lesbos aged 15.

The four-minute animated film, named Game of Life: The Story of Sharif, was first shown on YouTube in December 2016, and includes a narration of his six-week migrant crossing.

The sympathetic video follows how his father, who was a military commander, was killed in an ambush and his mother and siblings were killed by a suicide bomb attack in Kabul.

Ahmadzai, accompanied by friends, was then smuggled out of Afghanistan’s capital and journeyed through Iran and Turkey, before he reached a refugee camp on Lesbos, named Moria.
